I would also suggest that anyone attending a conference arrange a mapping party around it. I did that at the AGI GeoCommunity last year and we made some decent progress in Stratford-upon-Avon, and raised a lot of awareness with conference attendees.
Most attendees didn't take part, but the next day when several presenters showed what progress had been made in a few hours, the message sank home about small scale, self-organised mapping events being able to make a big difference. -- Christopher Osborne www.itoworld.com
