I don't know what part of the country you are looking at, but in most cases I've seen, the OS data is so much better than ours it's not funny. However, the OS's advantage is mostly in completeness, giving plenty of detail for an area where OSM is sketchy (missing large numbers of roads) or altogether blank. Where both OS and OSM are equally detailed, there is no reason to assume that the OS is more accurate.
