I would put source=NPE;survey but nobody really expects the source tag to be a bomb-proof, legally sound way to determine the source of an object. It is a hint at best. Looking at changeset history is better (if people documented what they were doing in the changeset comment, and the edits don't predate the introduction of changesets to the API).
