Hi,
I am the developer who works on a number of products including OSM
Analysis for ITO.
I am slightly confused about making the OS Locator box a dashed box if
the not:name tag is present. When we do the processing if any street
is found with the not:name tag matching an OS Locator street then
these should not be flagged in the stats nor should they be drawn on
the map. Are you saying that this is not the case and they are still
appearing? If this is true then possibly there is a bug that I may
want to address (we are usually a day behind the updated planet file
so possibly its something to do with that?)
I think Bob is refering to the rectangles on Robert's Musical Chairs
overlay. I find that overwhelming with all of the green rectangles when
all I want to know is what is still remaining to be found, so I use the
ITO layer which works very well for me, thanks Shane.
I am just completing an extract script to find all of the roads and
tracks with a not:name=* tag, with view to listing them with their
lon+lat to send to Ordnance Survey. They previously expressed an
interest in seeing these anomalies. In the Hull area there are just over
100 such differences. When I've checked it works I'll make it available
if anyone is interested.
