They certainly exist as they have been testing them last week and the areas they are covering are probably easy enough to work out as West Mids police say they have targeted those areas where gun use is most widespread, ie its not a blanket coverage of the region. I'm sure they will be embedded in along with other sensing equipment the police use so unlikely to be detectable and mappable per se.
