Brilliant - thank you (and Dave) for that. There's some particular data there which is causing P2 to throw an error. When I open it in Flash Debug Player it throws an exception immediately.
I'll have a look, though like I say Christmas isn't exactly conducive to this sort of thing... I'm meant to be practising the organ tomorrow!
