I agree with this. The way dual carriageways are mapped feels flawed
to me, same with complex junctions. I wonder if a "sub-way" concept
might be the answer, where detail can be added into a single way, for
lanes at junctions, dual carriageways, cycle tracks/lanes, pavements
etc.That way, the way itself can be used to draw basic maps, but
renderes might want to look at any sub-ways for more detail.
