Subject: [Talk-GB] Hampshire ROW: OS confirmation
Hi,
My contact at HCC has spoken directly to Ordnance Survey and got the
following response:
"The PROW data has been exempted under terms equivalent to the OS
OpenData
terms (as a result of the Chancellors autumn statement). That means we
allow our IP to be used without limitation (subject to the 2-3 small
conditions set out in the OS OpenData licence. So these datasets can be
reused on other systems such as Open Street Map"
I would therefore assume this confirms that we can definitely use it as
long
as we give attribution (e.g. in the form of "source" tags)
I would have thought so.
