Yeah, once I've got a way of (semi-)reliably matching entries together I'm definitely doing to differentiate between: - Those with a matching address and a postcode already in OSM (push these to the bottom or grey-out) - Those with a a matching address but no postcode in OSM (make these more obvious) - Those with no match (allow to search by postcode to find the area) I'm expecting that there will be lots and lots of false negatives (places where I can't match two things together, even though they should be) and perhaps a few false positives (due to, e.g. finding the wrong 'High Street') but we'll have to see. The whole process is going to have to be quite involved and manual I fear. I'm also now looking at the Companies House data. There's a hell of a lot of data there and I'm currently thinking about how best to analyse it. -- Matt Williams http://milliams.com _______________________________________________ Talk-GB mailing list [email protected] http://lists.openstreetmap.org/listinfo/talk-gb
