Thanks Peter, Ed, Barry, I haven't had much success with parsing the Naptan xml data, whether using Thomas' naptan2osm or not.
However, I've managed to use the csv format version of the data, trimming to the Glasgow area in QGIS, and tweaking the resulting file in OpenOffice. Not quite as automated, but processes I understand better. Will try and add some notes on the Wiki page to document this method. I now have a .osm file of around 8000 bus stops around Glasgow, that appear to match those already in OSM, so I will start splicing the data in as and when I get the time… Cheers, Donald
