I have, I think, reverted the offending changesets (which unfortunately required removing all the users work).
I have messaged the project manager both via the HOT TM and OSM messages, and messaged DWG as well. Now to get back to adding stuff from my surveys in Northern Ireland (which is noticeably better mapped than when I was there 2 years ago)!
