Hello everyone,

As some of you may remember, at the GB1900 meeting a couple of years ago we
discussed the possibility of a collaboration between OSM UK and the Ramblers'
Don't Lose Your Way project, which aims to find historic rights of way by the
2026 deadline of claiming them to add to the definitive map.

The possible candidates have now been identified as part of Don't Lose Your
Way. OS mapping was used for this, but Jack Cornish from the Ramblers wants to
talk about a possible collaboration with OSM for the next phase, which will
involve examining the candidate paths for current use or whether it will be
feasible to bring them back into use, which could also result in these
candidate paths for reopening being added to OSM.

It's possible also that software to accomplish this aim will be discussed.

I have a meeting on Teams with him tomorrow (Friday) 15:00. Apologies for the
short notice, but the link will be:
