The Museum Data Service have published a blog post about some work
I've been doing with them, as Wikimedian in Residence:

The work included improvements to museum representation on OSM; adding
some that were missing, noting a few that had closed or changed name,
adding tags like alt_name and website, adding Wikidata links and vice
versa (including a few that were linked to the wrong item), and in
some cases splitting a node for a museum from the way representing the
building that houses it.
