Hi Hajar,

I understand your goal of improving OSM but I think this is not the best way to be doing it.

I can see series of floating ways and tiny paths mapped as highway=unclassified/residential that lead nowhere.[1]

Similar organised mapping activities have left many unwanted and non-useable spaghetti ways in many places on OSM in Ghana for years, look at Bolgatanga itself and other larger settlements around you will see examples of what I am talking about.

Hello OSM Ghana!
Happy New Year to everyone! I hope you all had a wonderful holiday season and are ready for another year of great mapping together! I’m excited to share a new tasking manager project with you all — mapping Missing Roads in Bolgatanga!  This is a fantastic opportunity to improve the map and help the local community by filling in crucial missing roads. Here’s the link to the project: _https://tasks.openstreetmap.us/ projects/725/ <https://tasks.openstreetmap.us/projects/725/>_ Your efforts make a real difference, and I’m sure together we can do amazing things for Bolgatanga. Let’s keep up the fantastic work and continue making OpenStreetMap even better! If you have any questions or need support, feel free to reach out. Happy mapping, everyone!
Hajar from TomTom
