I've made a start on some of this reorganization; I've assumed the relative
silence to mean consent ;-)

http://wiki.openstreetmap.org/wiki/Ireland , for places that I have made an
attempt of mapping, have links to entries for those towns/villages.

So, for example, the entry for the R490 has links to entries for
Borrisokane, Cloughjordan and Moneygall - along with links for counties
Tipperary and Offaly.
Entries for towns/villages have 'custom' todo lists of specific points of
interest at those locations that should definitely be mapped.
These entries in turn link to pages for the counties they are in so we can
then see a matrix of how those places rate against each other - and see what
other places may also need to be covered.

examples are:
http://wiki.openstreetmap.org/wiki/Birr
http://wiki.openstreetmap.org/wiki/Nenagh
http://wiki.openstreetmap.org/wiki/Roscrea
http://wiki.openstreetmap.org/wiki/County_Tipperary
http://wiki.openstreetmap.org/wiki/County_Offaly
etc etc

opinions, thoughts etc?
