Hi all,
Following months of arguments Fermanagh District Council has rolled out a
new official addressing system for the County. It went live on 1st Feb
2013 and "rural dwellers" received an aeriel photograph with their
property marked and their new address which now includes a Building
number, Road name, Townland, Locality, Town, County and Postcode.
I would like to approach Fermanagh District Council about releasing this
new addressing system in a way which would could be merged into OSM. To
be useful, what data would be required? I'm guessing the most useful way
would be a database of all the new 'official' physical addresses and a
co-ordinate of the address? Is there anyone willing to help me compose a
letter to request this information, in a way which allows us to import it
into OSM?
