Hi all, So the deadline came and went and unfortunately there was only a single entry and having a vote with only one option is kind of pointless.
I also contacted a number of people directly who I know are good at this sort of stuff but several were in the middle of holidays etc. Given all of that, after chatting to a few on the best way to proceed, the logo competition closing date is going to be extended, this time until Friday 11th Sep. The next meetup is planned for 12th Sep so it will tie in nicely. That gives 5 weeks for all you budding artists to come up with a design. It occurred to me that someone might have a great idea for a logo but not be able to meet the criteria above, so if you're like me and are technically challenged (can't think of a better way to describe it) try drawing and scanning something or even use MS Paint. We can always get a design refined and tidied up later on if its voted as the favorite.
