Unfortunate precedent in Meath
They have split EDs between 2 MDs in the cases of Ratoath, Ashbourne and Laytown-Bettystown EDs. Until now townlands nested perfectly in EDs which turn nested perfectly In MDs. This is not now the case. I doubt that new part EDs will be created to reflect this split so we live with it for the next 5 years.
