another very interesting thing about India is that in most of the country there are no signs put up to show the road name. Towns in Karnataka have, but no where in Tamilnadu. One has to find the road name by looking at the addresses written on the shops. In my home town, the actual road name may not even be known to the residents on the road. Often roads are referred to by a landmark.
