We can try one of the following approaches to get CSBE school data onto OSM. 1. See if we get someone in the CBSE system to buy into OSM thought process and collect/release all data through/to OSM. 2. See if the pre-requisites in the CBSE EOI guidelines can be altered to allow communities to collect data rather than an agency/organisation. This way we can put up a nice little document for use by the school authorities on how to locate their school on a map and/or how to use a GPS to get the coordinates of the school and add themselves to OSM. 3. Get people from OSM community to say they would collect data for the city/town they live in on OSM and thus render the excercise redundant. All of these approaches achieve the same goal but with varied effectiveness and needing different effort levels. This can be a good means to reach out to school students and try to get them onto OSMing. What do others OSMers feel? Is it time for openschoolmap.in or opencbseschoolmap.in or something like that. - P
