Continuing my interest in mapping the railway network, i've put together what i thought was a logical tagging scheme to map the network in detail. You can see the proposal here:

I'm sure the guys at IRFCA <http://groups.yahoo.com/group/irfca/> will jump on something like that in a big way. But we need to make sure that we have the tagging guidelines in place first.
