I have added "place=village" nodes for villages in Krishna district (AP) traced on Bing imagery [1] [2]. I have only traced some parts of the district and the villages count grew to ~700 and probably doubles once I sweep thru the entire district. It took a couple of hours for mapping them (~350 in 2 changesets).
At this rate, it would take several days to just identify unmapped villages and then map them and several weeks to trace roads to them! Any ideas on how we can speed this up?
