Hi This is great initiative in mapping the villages. Thanks for it @Nikhil. Also if you are mapping in Pune (only city), try to use ESRI imagery (better than Bing/Mapbox Satellite and others). This is available both in iD and JOSM editors.
@Shibu Narayan, using street level photos is nothing but using Mapillary ( http://mapillary.com/), a crowd sourced street photo project where you can use it for mapping.
