you can find the new osm files to download.

Awesome. Thanks for your efforts and the much improved files.

 * Fixed the "ß" problems of the german street names

It looks like the strasse->straße substitution didn't work. (To be clear: it should be "Weinstraße" not "Weinstrasse", for example – sorry if there was some confusion in my last mail.)

Please check the new files. If they are acceptable we will proceed with the import

Only one more thing: The special rules for ladin towns [1].
* place names should be shortened if the name is the same in two languages:
  - "Badia - Badia - Abtei" -> "Badia - Abtei"
  - "Corvara - Corvara in Badia - Corvara" -> "Corvara - Corvara in Badia"
* for all other names (addr:hamlet, addr:place, addr:street) the Ladin names (e.g. addr:street:lld) are missing. * I think we initially said that: “The street names in Ladin towns are only signposted in Ladin, therefore […] the tag addr:street should be the same as addr:street:lld”[1]. (I'd add that this should also apply to addr:place as well.)

Then I think we should finally be ready to go! :)
