Hi List, I think I have been to G空間EXPO twice already, because my office was just the other side of the road, so I went there for lunch time a couple of times to discuss with people and grab some ball pens ;-) Well, I would like to give a few comments about this event from my point of view:
1) I felt it was a bit "old style" mapping and land surveyors exhibition without anything about "Free Software" or "Open Data" (except Orkney's booth last year of course ;-) 2) It was extremely small last year compared to the year before. I was very surprised. No large booth at all and quite a few exhibitors of the year before were missing, I think. Economic crisis? Do the GIS dinosaurs disappear? 3) There was a "students" or "non-profit" corner that wasn't much appealing. I don't know about the costs for exhibitors, but I wouldn't see much value for OSM to pay for a booth if it's similar to last year.
