As people who were there know, I'm working on the process of extracting the current NL data out of the system for replacement. Here are just a few notes from my end that probably need to be known beyond the people who were there.
- I've added a section to the Roadmap page about protected areas. I've named the tag "nl:protected_and_import=yes" but if someone has a better name feel free to suggest. - People who want to protect an area from being overwritten need to follow the instructions on that page to indicate the exact area tobe protected. - I've created a directory in SVN "applications/utils/import/and_import" where I am putting the scripts I've made so far to handle this part of the import. My intention is to set it up so that on the day a simple "make" will run the first few stages completely automatically. I'm sure there's more, but that's all I can think of right now.
