Here is the current state of GPS-based satellite navigation systems in the Philippines:
1. Garmin-based: Using either OSMPH map or RoadGuide.ph map. 2. AVT/iNav: Using maps by Accu-map. http://www.avt.ph/ http://www.inav.ph/ 3. Asiatype/Accu-map: Using their own maps (flagship device: Vector V100). http://vector.com.ph/ 4. carNAVi: Using their own maps with some data from OSM (not sure which data they took; but building shapes at least). http://www.car-navi.ph/ 5. Google Maps-based for iOS and Android devices: Using data from Google Map Maker. 6. Nokia OVI Maps-based for Symbian devices: Using Nokia's NAVTEQ data. 7. Various China GPS: Using unknown maps. 8. Other brands: Tomtom, Magellan, etc.: Using unknown maps, but there are experimental OSM maps for Magellan.
