Hi, While post-disaster satellite imagery is not available yet, it is possible to use photos or videos, taken from the air or the ground, to get a better idea of what is there.
A collection of geolocated photos or videos found on social media (focused on damages and aid deployment) has been started here: https://haiyan.crowdmap.com/ Some of them might be useful for mapping. In this process, it is also quite possible that you find that some locations could be improved. In this case, please add a comment to the report, so that admins can take this into account. And of course the photo/video crowdmap is open for contributions from all (but please avoid duplicates).
