A bund is also defined as an embankment to control the flow of water. And for reference, the English equivalent for the Tagalog term "pilapil" is dyke or dike [0] or bund [1].
I am withdrawing my suggestion for the dyke tag, and second Maning's tag man_made=bund as technically more appropriate in the context of Asian rice fields and paddies. If this motion is carried, let's not forget to document this somewhere [2][3].
