Quick and dirty comparison alos_30m - red aster_v2 - green srtm_30m - blue
On flat areas, aster is noisy. srtm and alos seems to agree more but srtm seems to have consistent elevation along riverbanks/water bodies. : https://farm1.staticflickr.com/415/19079073641_14aaae88b4_c.jpg On rugged terrain, all data seems to be consistent, except that alos still has a lot of data holes: https://farm1.staticflickr.com/302/18889672429_a38f11e32a_c.jpg A rigorous statistical evaluation should be done, but for now, I'll stick to srtm 30 (for areas that don't have holes).
