I am Sheryl Rose Reyes from the Philippines, board member of the International Society for Photogrammetry and Remote Sensing Student Consortium (ISPRS SC) and member of the local organizing committee of the 35th Asian Conference on Remote Sensing (ACRS2015) and the 13th ISPRS Student Consortium and Working Group VI/5 Summer School. One of the major activities of ISPRS SC is the organization and hosting of summer schools. Since 2004, ISPRS SC has organized a total of twelve (12) summer schools in different countries across Europe, Asia, North America and Africa. Moreover, the ISPRS SC has established a strong collaboration with the Asian Association on Remote Sensing (AARS) since 2010, establishing the summer school as an annual event of the organization for Asian students and young professionals. The summer school is now a tradition that follows AARS major event, the annual Asian Conference on Remote Sensing (ACRS), which the Philippines will be hosting this year. Together with the Philippine Geosciences and Remote Sensing Society (PhilGRSS) and the Department of Geodetic Engineering - University of the Philippines, we will be hosting the 13th ISPRS Student Consortium and Working Group VI/5 Summer School, from October 24-28, 2015 at the University of the Philippines. In this regard, I would like to invite you to be a lecturer in said summer school. This year's theme will be "Using Geospatial Technologies for Natural Resources Management." You may conduct discussions and practical exercises to about 50-60 local and international participants. You may decide on the lectures you want to deliver, as long as it is relevant to the theme.
