Thanks everyone for your time in clarifying us. We found a couple of segments in PH and ID cities where the link segment classification in continued as that of connecting way. As mentioned by Eugene and Maning, these could probably classified basis traffic flow and segment usage.
So, if the connector segment is already available, we better off do not change its existing classification as we will not be sure on the traffic flow through satellite imagery alone, unless we have mapillary or OSC imagery. But, how would we go about when we find a missing connector. Will it be a good idea to tag it as highway = road?
