Hi everyone!
The Typhoon #Kammuri-Tisoy response remains ongoing. Thank you everyone for
your contributions thus far! Catanduanes is 100% mapped and 35% validated.
More than 320 contributors have added more than 44,000 buildings to the
map! Validation support for Catanduanes remains appreciated.

The next focus is the province of Sorsogon, which remains in a state of
calamity - as of Dec 9 power remains out across the province, schools are
cancelled, and thousands remain in evacuation centers, with estimates of
11,692 houses being destroyed and 48,788 damaged. Emergency response and
relief efforts remain underway.

Sorsogon is a large area so we have broken it into three tasks, and
identified the priority areas in each task:
Task 1 - https://tasks.hotosm.org/project/6733 - Prioritize the
municipalities of Donsol, Pilar, and Castilla
Task 2 - https://tasks.hotosm.org/project/6734 - Prioritize the
municipalities of Gubat and Prieto Diaz
Task 3 - https://tasks.hotosm.org/project/6735 - Prioritize the
municipalities of Casiguran and Juban

Your help is sincerely appreciated by HOT Ph, the Philippine Red Cross
(PRC), the Office of Civil Defense (OCD), all responders utilizing OSM
data, and of course those affected.

Thank you,
HOT Philippines Team
