Hi Ivana, A recommended way to get bigger regions of the map is the following.
- Download a data extract covering the country/region you are interested in as an OSM.BZ2 file. You can get it here, for example for Sweden [1]. - Use osmconvert [2] to clip a desired region from the export file. For rectangular extents, you will need -b option [3]. Make sure to learn command line options of osmconvert.
