Hi Peter The relative absence is mainly down to experience that the traces were so unreliable as to be only a guide and a lot of streets are estimations only. I tried using a compass to get bearings but standing in the middle of a road with a compass causes a lot of disturbance so I desisted. Perhaps being on the top deck of a double decker reduces the bouncing effect of the GPS signal from the surrounding buildings.
