Thanks for the update. If you help any help then do ask for it on the list. I am certainly very keen to get on with an Import for Suffolk or even the East of England. Btw, what is the plan for the National Public Transport Gazetteer. I am conscious of the fact that we are sitting on a DB of 50K place names in the UK and that we should do something with it. It should not be added to OSM as visible data without any thought or checking, however it would be a shame not to use it at all. Possibly some of the same tools we are developing for NaPTAN could also be repurposed at a later stage to do this work.
