well, the trains i wanted to take recently required a 23 hour layover
at an intermediate station. Any routing that showed that as a useful
route would be almost as dangerous as the car in desert gps stories.

we seriously need to upgrade US rail rights of way so the trains can
make the connections they made 50 years ago, let alone get to
non-bullet express speed.
