Hi all, Potlatch now has an OpenTopoMap layer. (OpenTopoMap is a project set up by Chris Schmidt to provide free basemaps, just like OpenAerialMap is for free aerial imagery.)
The particular relevance is that it has full USGS topo coverage, so you can trace natural features, paths, and other such things that don't show up in TIGER. To enable it, just open Potlatch, select the 'options' window (the tick icon), and choose OpenTopoMap from the menu.
