Caltrans has freeway exit numbers for all California state and Interstate routes available at http://www.dot.ca.gov/hq/traffops/signtech/calnexus/index.htm . Their "Conditions of Use" ( http://www.dot.ca.gov/use.html#ownership ) say "In general, information presented on this web site, unless otherwise indicated, is considered in the public domain."
Is it OK legally to use this data in OSM? I only plan to add exit numbers in areas that are familiar to me. Thanks in advance.
