As a side note: the speed limit in mph has confounded the Skobbler designers - possibly because their data is filtered via Cloudmade. There are many roads already fully tagged with maxspeed that get Mapdust reports of missing speed limits.

there are some visualizers that appear to have problems with speeds where the last digit is not 0,
e.g. common speeds like 25 mph, 35 mph, 45 mph.

and i just noticed that the ITO speed visualizer doesn't appear to understand 25mph.
it seems to understand all the others. oh well.

in the US, it's actually the case that in some jurisdictions you may see very odd speeds, e.g. there's a road i know of in Durham NC where the local community group got the limit set to 27mph. the authors of the visualizers need to be aware of this and code
ranges rather than specific values.
