i concur, the postal abbreviation method is is really clear and obvious.
Also, for some reason in Massachusetts, most of the roads were
imported using "SR" instead of "MA". I think I changed some near the
New Hampshire border to MA and then someone changed them back, but I
never followed up.
in some states (MA and FL come to mind) state highways are frequently
referred to as "State Routes", or SR, on maps and in general conversation.
