Today's official launch of State Department's "imagery to the crowd"
initiative under which they provide imagery in emergency situations to HOT
is yet another official OSM use in government. This has been an ongoing
practice but the launch of a web site for "imagery to the crowd" is a very
encouraging signal that this an initiative to stay.

This is awesome and calls for a blog post, over here at the OSM US chapter
we've been doing a bit of research and here's a round up of interesting
uses of OSM in (US) government:

Who's not on this list but should've been? Any other suggestions?
