The instructions currently read: *1. Create an account on OpenStreetMap.org* *2. Click on “edit” and pick one of the editors to edit the map*
Which seems a bit sparse and perhaps intimidating. Could that have a "3"? "Editing the map" is not every new person's goal. Maybe give 'em good examples like: ...map a drinking water fountain in your business district... ...add a website tag to a shop, so people can find details... ...hike a trail with a GPS and record the track later... ...point out a great viewpoint by adding a symbol to the map... ...map a speed limit sign... Give 'em something that's both interesting and doable, a starter project.
