Superrelations, where the members are child relations, should have roles of north/south/east/west/clockwise/anticlockwise as appropriate. The child relations (and routes with only one relation) should have forward/backward if applicable; and if a child, then all members of the child will have forward or backward, and the relation itself will have direction=* agreeing with it's role in the superrelation.
