Is building completely destroyed (no longer existing)? Simply delete it or remove building tag and use demolished:building=yes / not:building=tag, possibly add also note.
Deleting is fine, but others may remap it from aerial images. ------------ Still building, just damaged, abandoned or seriously damaged? abandoned=yes, ruins=yes, damaged=yes is a typical tagging ------------ I am not aware about good standard tagging for ruins that appeared recently that are no longer a building.
