OSM ZA, SAGNS http://sagns.dac.gov.za/ are the official body who maintain the database of South African place names. (Cities, Towns, Villages, Suburb, cluster of huts, Post Offices, Dams, Rivers, etc.)
I believe the database is free usage, but I have asked for confirmation. Do people believe this information is worth importing?
