Yes, adding in the more official footways and service roads is a good. I'd be nervous about too eagerly adding all the desire paths ( http://en.wikipedia.org/wiki/Desire_path ) they could have changed drastically since the imagery was captured. Also worth adding the railway platforms, rail pedestrian bridges + bridge steps etc. I've had a go at a few stations.
