Talk-ZA,

I am pleased to announce the availability of new aerial imagery for mappers.
http://aerial.openstreetmap.org.za/

The imagery was kindly provided by Chief Directorate of National
Geographic Information (CD:NGI)
The imagery is 0.5m per pixel, with very accurate position.
There are a few missing regions, some are due to my processing of the
imagery, others due to missing source imagery. I will be fixing up the
imagery over the next year, we will then have full national coverage.

The imagery has been added to the Potlatch2 and JOSM presets:
 * Potlatch2: Click Background (top right), choose "South Africa: CD:NGI Aerial"
 * JOSM: Edit -> Preferences -> WMS/TMS -> Imagery Providers, click
"South Africa: CD:NGI Aerial" (2nd from bottom of list) -> Click
Activate.

Please add a "source=ngi-aerial" tag when using the imagery!
In Potlatch2 this can be done by pressing "B" when the new imagery is
set as the background.

A big thank you to Lance Burger for his help in getting the imagery for us.
The imagery is currently over 3000Gigabytes and will grow to over
4000Gigabytes once complete.

The imagery is currently hosted on a slowish connection in the UK. I
hope to get better hosting soon.
I'll also stick the code onto github later today.

Regards
 Grant
