On a non-OSM-note: This is totally absurd. I just finished reading a book on the history of Johannesburg, and those streets have such rich, non-Apartheid history. Such a middle finger to the people by the current government to totally disrespect that history, and perform costly re-naming, instead of improving infrastructure.
I don't get to that area often any more, but if/when I do, I will be sure to keep an eye out. Thanks for the heads-up, Grant!
