Mine had similar issues the way I fixed it was by reinstalling the newest wireless drivers for your laptop. Also see if there is a firmware upgrade for your router.

Subject: The Talk2 List Sick of stupid wireless issues

Hallo all you techie people.
OK, I know my wireless point is a piece of crap by default, but since since the parentals are very stubborn and won't buy a new router for me, I need help. My laptop refuses to stay connected to the network. It works for two minutes and then loses connectivity. I've run repair on it and it gets stuck on renewing IP address. However, the desktop can stay on the network fine. I've rebooted the AP, power cycled it, reset it completely, and still the laptop keeps being stubborn.
Does anyone have any ideas?
Grrr. I want the net back in my room!
